A lovely day out, especially in the Autumn when it is a bit quieter, is to drive down to the Sandbanks ferry http://www.sandbanksferry.co.uk and cross the entrance of Poole Harbour on 'The Bramble Bush Bay' chainlink ferry to Shell Bay http://www.shellbay.net/ on Studland.
